"confabulation"
I had to look that one up, v. "To fill in gaps in the memory with detailed accounts of fictitious events believed true by the narrator."
That is a discussion all by itself, I think.
I recently tried adding a small dose of Wellbutrin to the Effexor that I take now, and it wasn't good for me. I became MORE depressed; in a severe way. It was initially prescribed because I was experiencing so many dramatic mood swings on a weekly, and even daily basis (though not bipolar). It made whatever problems I have worse. I was only taking 100 mg. of the Wellb. twice a day. It did effectively cut my appetite, so if you want it for that reason, it would be a good choice. It's also somewhat energizing.
These meds seem to effect everyone differently, except for the weight gain piece of it. It seems everyone agrees they cause weight gain. I had to discontinue the Wellbutrin because of the increased depression, but others may tell you it works great for them. You just can't tell.
Now I'm trying Neurontin, which I like so far. It makes me feel sort of high when I increase the dose, which, as far as I'm concerned, is a real bonus (they should charge extra for THAT side effect).
So, yes you can take them together. Yes, Wellbutrin will prob. decrease your appetite. Beyond that...?
