Amitriptyline-Med change-Experiences?

I was taking Verapamil but due to side-effects was taken off by my Dr. Am now taking Amitriptyline and am wondering about any side-effects I should be watching for. Any personal experiences or examples would be much appreciated. I have looked through the archives and didn't find much directly relating to this drug, so anyone out there that has some working knowledge, lay it on me. One note, does the sleepiness go away?
