I have since reduced my dosage back down to 40mg (single dose in the morning), and so far I am still feeling fine. It has REALLY helped with my PMS!!! I can't believe how much it has reduced my moodiness and depression at that time! (well, at other times too :-)

No insomnia or sleep disturbance, no sexual side effects (though this was frustrating for the first 2 months), nothing else! Maybe I should be a poster woman for Celexa?! :-)

I took Celexa 20 mg for 8 months In the beginning the effect was tremendous.
I was able to cope with some pretty difficult and depressing issues.
I expereienced strange dreams, sleeplessness ( I've had insomnia for years)
I felt like these side effects were minor compared to the crushing depression I had expereienced before.
I had tried Paxil and even the smallest dose turned me into a "Zombie" I
Exercise helped and I began working out vigorously on a regular basis ( 90 min 5x a week)
I slowly began to put on weight and did not connect it with the celexa
I had been told that weight loss was a side effect. I continued to gain weight and the depression slowly returned.
Now almost 25lbs later I'm calling it quits. I have recently found that many people have the same problem.
I know what took only months to gain will take me much longer to lose. Good luck to you all
