Modafinil-use in ADD?

Does anyone here have experience or know of someone
who has taken modafinil for ADD? I know it just got
approved here for narcolepsy but it sounds promising
for us ADDers. Is it less "stimulating" than ritalin
or the others? Thanks in advance for any info!
