If you find a med that works in some respects for you, I firmly believe you should "work" with it by changing doses, adding another drug, whatever. Don't give up on it until you've explored all avenues with your doctor.

I have been on this drug (was prescribed it for use in ADHD) before and I also experienced a scary anxiety side effect that made me feel pre-seizure-like. I have had seizures before, so this really scared me and I went to the ER and consequently discontinued the drug. I am aware that Wellbutrin lowers the seizure threshold, so it probably shoudln't have been prescribed for me at all since I have the history of seizures. Good luck with this drug but you might try calling your physician and notifying him of your increased anxiety and he could try you on a drug less likely to cause these symptoms (such as Remeron, Effexor, or an SSRI).
