> I have been on celexa for 1 1.2 months. Yesterday I had a horrible day. So full of anxiety I thought I was going to go out of my mind. I could not clear my head of negative thoughts all day. Has anyone ever had scenario's play out in their heads? Mine is constant, it definitly lightened up with the Celexa but not yesterday. Should I up the dosage? Is this to be expected? Need advise.

DO NOT INCREASE THE DOSAGE!!!! Your doctor may think this medicine is the best thing since sliced bread and try and talk you into an increase... DON'T DO IT! I've gone through the same exact thing, extreme anxiety, thoughts racing so fast I couldn't even grab onto one. It didn't even occur to me that it could be the medicine (I thought it was the "theatrics" of my mind). I would either taper down as
quickly as possible (not too quick though, over the course of a couple weeks is the best case scenario), or get a prescription for xanax to get you over the hump.

Good luck
