It has weak dopamine reuptake inhibition ( compaired to 5HT and nor-e) but I notice a difference (for me and me only !) at 100 mgs that is different than any AD, and I associate this with Dopamine. It is a non mood cognation improving effect that really helps with the ADD. I've looked for the same info and have not found it but assume it takes a higher dose to get sig. effect. I take 200-300.
What is your intrest in Dopamine ?
Beware....St James can take large doses of all meds with little side effect. You need to talk with your doc b4 upping any dose, but esp. Effexor
because many have nasty side effects with greater doses. Too much of a good thing is not always good !j
