There are some differences among the three, but in general it's impossible to predict which one will be best for a particular person.

For whatever it's worth, I took the then new drug Prozac for three years starting when *I* was 14, and it seemed to do a good job at the time. I didn't have any bad side effects or anything. Later my depression became SSRI-resistant: I tried Prozac again, and also Zoloft and Paxil, to no effect. The Paxil gave me jitters, but Zoloft, like Prozac, didn't have any side effects for me that I could tell.
