Provigil for fatigue/depression?

I am curious if anyone has had experience with Provigil (modafinil- used for narcolepsy) for the treatment of fatigue associated with the use of anti-depressants or with depression in general. I have always had problems with the SSRIs causing fatigue. Apparently Provigil works by a completely different mechanism from the amphetamines or ritalin and does not cause tolerance (which has been a real problem for me). Does it cause stimulation at all? The amphetamines definitely have an anti-depressant effect: are there any such effects with Provigil? Thanks for any info!
