Cod liver oil does taste awful! Have you tried the flavored fish oils though? Orange is the most popular. That’s the flavor I use, it’s not bad at all.
By the way, flax and hemp oil may not work for depression. You see, omega 3 fatty acids have three components; DHA, EPA and ALA. Flax seed oil contains only ALA. It is the DHA and EPA however that have the antidepressant benefits. The body may be able to convert the ALA to the EPA and DHA, but I’ve read that it also may not be able, at least at times, to do this conversion.
