In reply to 3600 to 4800 mg/day of Buspar for social phobia?, posted by Severe Socially Phobic (Argh!!!) on November 9, 1999, at 10:36:53
> I recently read NEURONTIN requires a much high dose than was originally believe in order to successfully treat social phobia. Parke-Davis'1999 study only went up to 3600 mg/day. Other, however, have gone as high as 4800 mg/day to get relief from social phobia. this seems like it could be ideal, getting away from the plethora of negative side effects experienced with the SSRI's and SNRI's.
