I don't want to start another debate about meds, but I'm just curious about your treating psychiatrist. Is he/she a good therapist? Are you seeing a good therapist aside from the prescribing doc? I posted a while back about my complete frustration with meds and psychiatrists and my decision to taper off. ECT was not an option for me, despite these really nice videotapes provided by two different pdocs, mine to keep. Anyway, I don't know if it's a placebo thing, but I'm really starting to feel better slowly getting off the 5 meds I'm on, maybe it's just the compassionate psychologist. Something to think about.
