Just a p.s. to my above post--I'm assuming you've had a full battery of medical tests including thyroid function, right?The thread of responses about new dopamine-acting meds like amisulpride is quite interesting--it's related to why I mentioned wellbutrin and selegiline to you, though amisulpride certianly looks very promising for dysthymia in particular. In the absence of unusual medical findings, my first hunch would still probably be to consider a trial of a full MAOI, though.
