Yes Baylor University is in Houston. However the other recommendation, Dr. Daniel Kaufman, I highly recommend. When I lived in Houston I saw him, and I have recommended many people to him over the years, all were very pleased. I have even recommended him to people at this site, who have been quite happy with him. He pays very acute attention to your particular responses to medication and has a huge storewell of information both from observations with other clients and being extremely well-read. Though a mainstream psychiatrist he is also very open to alternative approaches and combining things. Everyone who has seen him has been quite satisfied with quality and intelligence and attentiveness of his care. You can easilyfind him in the phone book. Plus he is very well connected with the rest of the medical establishment and can set youup with other physicians as well for other medical needs. Houston is one of the leading medical centers in hte world and you can get access to top flight doctors there
