Here (Brazil), we have a delicious bread with cheese incorporated into the dough. I had polished off half a dozen of these delicacies before I realised what I had done. I spent a worrying couple of hours waiting for the headache etc. to appear but nothing happened. Good Luck Jan

> Hi Janet,
> I hope you gave parnate a long enough trial. Four weeks seems like the bare minimum for most meds. You can go up to 60mgs of parnate to experience full effects, but this is best done gradually increasing dose over many weeks. Some studies have even used higher doses with good results(with guidance of Dr.,of course).
> Just thought I'd share this info with you, I'd hate for you(or anyone) to give up on this med without giving it a fair trial.

I have kids and I have to function even if it's minimally. I had this response to all ADs except Effexor and I've come to the conclusion that ADs aren't for me. Thanks for your interest. Jan
