I did try the switch from Nardil (Phenelzine) to Parnate several years back and could not make the transition. Efflexor is an interesting idea - I am not familiar with the drug so will do some research and discuss it with my Psych Doc. Effexor seems to be frequently referenced on this chat line - will add another post and see if other users have had success. Thanks again for your reply.
