She also smokes cigarettes while she drinks. This is the only time she smokes. I know drinking is harmful if not done in moderation, and if course, smoking is always bad, but what risks are involved while on the prescribed drug, paxel?

Hi, Natalie, I was on Paxil for a bit while I was in a drinking stage. Though, I did not drink that much I did notice that when I did I felt the effects more. It also seemed to keep me depressed; not letting the meds do their job. As far as the actual precations, I'm not sure. There are some very good web sites that you can look up info on prescribing information. I use one of the on line pharmacies that has a drug index. (planetrx.com)
