What the heck is Personality Disorder?

I recently had to have my p-doc fill out a FMLA form for me to get time off from work. I asked him to send me a copy. For the diagnosis he listed 1) Major Depressive Disorder, 2) Personality Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. Does anyone know what that means?
