Dear George,
Unfortunately, I have some bad news: I contacted an online pharmacy in Switzerland to inquire about getting Survector. I thought it had just been discontinued in the Philippines where I was getting it. The pharmacist informed me that it has been discontinued worldwide by the manufacturer. There is a "sister" drug, tianeptine, that can now be obtained in these countries but it just didn't work for me - not energizing enough for my perpetual fatigue-style depression. It may work for you though and is worth a try.
In conjunction with the Survector, I was using Dogmatil (sulpiride). Although this is kind of unconventional to use for depression, it is one of it's many, lesser known functions. It is a neuroleptic but has uses for depression, social inhibition and migraine prevention. I really believe it helped with the physical symptoms of my illness.
I am struggling daily as well, in the absence of Survector. If you find something that works as well, PLEASE e-mail me at k2brooks@uswest.net.
Best to you.
Karen
