It is good to hear things are better for you ... just don't settle for mediocre, okay? Be patient, but don't get complacent. We all deserve better than mediocre.
Noa and I have been talking about this -- when is "better" good enough? How can you tell? Particularly for folks like me (depressed since at least the age of eight), I have no "feeling good" baseline for comparison ... as far as I know, I never have felt "good". I also just found out quite personally that what some like to say -- how sometimes you've got to go through some pain to get to someplace better -- is very much true.
Keep looking up, Rick. It's like what Robert Pirsig said about climbing a mountain -- the goal may be to reach the top, but it's not the top but the sides of the mountain that sustain life. So, while you keep climbing, trying to get to the top, take a look around and realize that there's no hurry, you'll get there in time.
