The test was weird. The computer screen showed a white box with a black box within it. When the black box was on the bottom, it was not the target. When it was in the top, it was the target, and I was supposed to click a button. It was 20 minutes long and got really boring. My attention did wander from time to time which led to errors. The computerized results indicated ADD. I go back later this week to do it again. This time, however, I will take and Adderall before taking the test.
Renee, thanks so much for your follow-up post. You know, I don't even know whether or not my insurance will cover the test. Oops. I hope that the Adderall does not have the same effect as drinking lots of caffeine. I've had really unpleasant experiences with that. Well, hopefully, I'll get on a good drug and live happily ever after. Lol.
