I needed an AD that was less stimulating and wouldn't trigger hypomania. I am diagnosed bipolar - mixed, rapid cycling. ADs often tend to make my mood worse, but Selegline didn't. Don't ask me to remember all of the details, as I'm in the midst of ECT treatments. Parkinson's runs in my family big time, so it couldn't hurt.
