I use it as an AD augmentor and for sleep problems caused by effexxor. If you try it, give it at least 5 or 6 weeks. The first 3 or 4 weeks can be hard. As the dose increases, a number of people here have reported feeling very emotional, angry, tearful, irritable, etc. as well as wobbly, foggy headed, uncoordinated, etc. But this usually wears off. I find Serzone somewhat sedating, not as intense and fast acting as trazodone, with a lingering sedated feeling. This helps me with sleep. I don't know how I would feel on a day time dose. I find it does a good job of countering the insomnia, restlessness, and twitchy muscles from the effexxor. I can't really judge how good an antidepressant it is.
