That is SSOOO cool you're feeling better.
One thing to be aware of is that a side effect (though infrequent) of Effexor is INCREASED libido. So don't rule out that possibility. It does happen.
I've noticed two things that help with libido side effects. One is Remeron 7.5mg to 15mg for sleep. It blocks the receptors that are involved in sexual dysfunction from serotonin antidepressants. Another one is Lamictal. I've been on and off Lamictal several times, and have always noticed a slight increase in sexual desire when I'm on it.
And one other thing to be aware of is that sexual side effects on Effexor are less at a medium dose than either a low dose or a high dose. Probably something to do with the ratio of serotonin/NE effect at the medium dose. I noticed this while studying the side effect charts of Effexor.
In any case, it feels good to notice improvement, yeah? I'm wishing you the best. JohnL
