Anna,

Duh...I am the one who's confused. Tianeptine doesn't work for me, but amineptine does, just to clarify.

I would still suggest trying to find sources in third world countries for Survector, like the Philippines, Indonesia, South American countries or Mexico where pharmacies may still have substantial stock because the drug was not heavily prescribed there. I tried the Pharmacy Victoria in Europe (don't remember where) and they said it had been discontinued and was not available.

The problem with finding out that Amineptine works for you is that there will be one sad day in the near future when you can't get it ANYWHERE...then you take the big dive, you know what I mean? This is why I am trying to find something here in the US that works, painful as the process may be.

Nortriptyline is working pretty well but I have only been on it for four days now. I am not depressed mentally, in that way it is working but I am still a little tired during the day...and irritable because I am not on a mood stabilizer (I'm Bipolar). Topamax will be added later, after I'm stabilized on the Nortriptyline, so I can't comment on that yet.

Hope this helps.
