I went thru a couple of months of hell after going off paxil (10mg at the end). It sucks, but it DOES end. I just suffered through it. Different people respond differently. I do know that the SSRIs and effexor all have the same withdrawal problems, and my pdocs never told me this, they were disingenuous about things like that.
short acting benzos like ativan helped a little.
