> After reading last week's New York Times Magazine cover article on testosterone, I am very curious as to whether anyone has taken testosterone injections to successfully combat depression. If you haven't read the article, I highly recommend it. The author writes of his own experience with testosterone injections and it seems to have completely transformed him.

I especially find it interesting since testosterone and cholesterol are somehow linked, and I recently read a news release stating that a connection between low cholesterol levels and depression/suicide-risk has been established. My total cholesterol count was 109!!!
My doctor was baffled by the reading, knowing that I haven't been able to exercise regularly for some time due to fatigue.
The way this author described his experience, it seemed that every positive reaction he got from the testosterone was the EXACT things that I have lost, ie. Energy,Strength,Labido,Energy,Self-Awareness, did I mention Energy.
Certainly makes me wonder.Anthony
