I've tried several SSRI's to find which one works for me. Each time I switch SSRI's or change dosage, I get a mild sore throat. I get a low fever and muscle pains. Fortunately, it only lasts a day or two. I also have another strange reaction. I broke my leg a year ago. I had two operations to put different hardware in my leg. Each time they had to cut my leg from my knee to my hip all the way to the bone. I healed up fairly well now, but when I get those flu like muscle aches from the meds, the pain becomes almost unbearable in the muscle of the damaged leg. That too only lasts a day or two. I hope your sore throat symtoms will go away like mine did.
