Effexor XR dosage?

I've recently switched from Celexa to Effexor XR for GAD. I'm supposed to take 37.5mg daily for the first week, 75mg for the 2nd week, and 150mg for weeks 3 and 4. Is 150mg a fairly reasonable dose? TIA, David
