Sorry, the St. George area s a bit far away, but Zion and Bryce Natl. Parks are beautiful. Capital Reef is farther east, but is also worth a visit if you get the chance. Grand Junction is a long drive from any of those. You will have fun! There is a lot of spectacular scenery there. I haven't a clue about the fishing. A lot of people from here regularly head for Lake Powell, but I have to confess that I've never been there. R & R is good for the soul and probably the brain, too.
