Joint pain while taking Effexor

I have been on Effexor for a month and a half and 3 weeks ago I started having joint pain and swelling. Is this a normal side effect ot should I see the doctor for this problem?
It is getting worse to the point of having to take Ibuprofen. Does anyone else have these symptoms?
