Wellbutrin, Celexa

Posted by Patti H. on June 5, 2000, at 15:08:33

I have changed from Effexor to Wellbutrin to try to lose the 30 lbs I gained on Effexor. I have been on the full dose of Wellbutrin(150 mg twice daily) for a little over 6 weeks. I originally was taking 10mg of Celexa with it, but have been lethargic. I stopped the Celexa last Thursday with the permission of my Dr. I am still getting very sleepy...How long does the Celexa stay in my system? Could the Wellbutrin be making me lethargic? I expected to experience an increase in energy, so I am a bit disappointed. I have only lost about 4 lbs, but I am hoping that the weight will start to come off faster. Any thoughts out there???
