T1 and T2 probably exist in nature, but they're not tested.
Basic tests are Total T3, T4 (BTW T4 replacement is synthroid or levoxyl etc.) Free T3, T4. TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) a high number means that it is responding to underproduction by the thyroid. If you want to get fancy, you can do thyroid antibodies tests. Also TRH, but most doctors don't do that. If you're thyroid is low, you might have somewhat elevated cholestertol.
