Hi Brian - Thx for your holiday wishes & for the nice long post of June 14th. I really appreciate your sharing with me. I can't remember how long you've been taking Celexa - are you still? How is it going for you? I hope you've got back to how it was for you that first week on 30 mg. The deep down kind of good feeling. Are you still at 40 mg.?
I feel so fortunate. I feel Celexa's really working for me. My reply to Tina's June 24th post gives details of my holiday & stress that I faced immediately on getting home. Even during that stress, I felt way different from how I would have felt before. Camping, I noticed that I was more "in the NOW". The best example was I was going to pack up Sunday by 2. Saturday during the night it was RAINING. Normally, I'd have been VERY upset - what would I do; soaking wet muddy tent & tarps & small car to put them in if they wouldn't fold up as small as usual; etc. etc. BUT I was simply in the now. It was raining now, and now was now. I really didn't think of all the what if's and the amazing thing was that I didn't TRY not to think of them. The anxiety just wasn't there.
I really appreciated all the details in your June 14th post. You described things so well. I do hope you are well. Please let me know if you feel like it.
Warm thoughts, Kath
