Hi Noa.
I don’t know if I’m the Scott you had in mind, now that we have two. That’s O.K. I’ll accept the flattering concern anyway, and extend mine to the other Scott as well.
Neurontin did a real number on me. It made me feel weird and exacerbated my depression on top of it. What’s worse, the effects have lingered for more than two weeks since I took my last dose. Suicidal ideations were not outside my realm of thought. Things have begun to subside over the last two days. I am very grateful. I can still feel it, though. I guess a few prayers wouldn’t hurt.
I started taking sulpiride a week ago. My doctor has asked that I remain on 50mg a day for two weeks. This seems to be too low according to the literature and the experiences reported by people here on Babble. He said that a colleague of his who has worked with sulpiride recommended the lower dosage. Patience is a real pain in the ass.
Noa, thanks for your warm and supportive sentiments.
By the way, I found your self-descriptions along the right/left brain thread hugely beneficial to me. They sure seem to ring true. Thanks for sharing so much.
