I have been on Paxil since January of this year, and tried quitting a couple of weeks ago, so I now have two Paxil "start-ups" under my belt. (I decided to go back on it). Both times, I was feeling sick, and not wanting to eat, and then all of a sudden, I got my apetite back in a BIG way...couldn't stop eating. I have had some MINOR weight gain (not more than 10 lbs), but nothing I can't live with. Paxil does work well after the initial start up crap.
One thing...if you ever decide you want to quit taking Paxil, MAKE SURE you talk to you doctor FIRST...all those warnings about quitting abruptly, I have found, were there for a reason!
