I don't agree with that. I think it may be true sometimes but a lot of times suicide is a last desperate attempt to stop the pain. This could be seen as an act of self-love rather than loathing. I think most suicides are trying to destroy the pain and destroying themselves is just a side effect.

I wrote a PS last night that didn't get posted. I looked in the back of volume III and the actual ending is
