Cytomel is simply a brand name synthetic T3 thyroid hormone. It is available in the US. Is it not available in Canada? Or perhaps it is marketed under a different name there?
Also, if it isn't available in Canada, there may be another brand of T3 that you can use. With thyroid hormones, it is important that you use a brand name and stick to the same brand, as minute variations from brand to brand can make a difference in your levels. Generics in thyroid hormones are not considered reliable.
