Pressure in my head

Posted by Jared on August 23, 2000, at 23:09:00

Has anyone experienced extreme pressure in your head, that is almost constant and doesn't go away? Does this pressure seem to coincide with using SSRI's for anyone? I have had this for months now. It goes from extreme, like my head is going to explode, or when you are upside down and all of the blood rushes to your head, to just mild or more localized in the forehead. I have seen the doctor, and we initially thought the medication I was taking- Paxil - was causing it. Or he said it could just be a tension headache. But now I am off the Paxil ( using Prozac for a week and a half to ease the withdrawl), and it's been about two weeks and the pressure is bad as ever! It feels like something worse than just a simple tension headache. If anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated.
