Hello, I hope I can find someone with similar experiences. I am 32 years old I have been taking 75 mg Effexor now for almost 7 years and it's wonderful, keeps my depression and anxiety way down.However, I'm a business owner with tremendous responsibility and when I am stressed out, overwhelmed with problems, the first thing I want to do is SLEEP!. I could easily sleep 24 hours a day when feeling this way. It is imperative that I get up and face my problems which is so hard to do, I literally have to force myself to get up, and yet my day is ruined thinking about everything and I feel like my energy and life is totally sucked out of me for goodness sake.
I thought to myself "geez, if I worked for someone else, I would be fired, I could never hold a job". I know I have to think positive, take one thing at a time, but sheesh, I know this is not normal and tired of feeling this way. Am I not taking the right medication? Not enough?.... I would appreciate any testimonials or anyone who WENT through this experience and how did you over come it, maybe it'll help me overcome this problem. Thank you for your time.
