i saw an old post on this website from about a year ago about using opiates for depression..i am taking paxil and have been taking it for about 2 and a half years or so..i thought it was the thing helping me but i figured out that it was actually the hydrocodone (vicodin, lorcet) that was the only thing helping me.i tryed zoloft b4 to but that didnt help me at all..the hydrocodone is the only thing that gives me enough drive to actually go out and do things with my life..if the hydrocodone is the only thing helping me in life then why do they make such a big deal about giving it to me?..im over 18..im an adult...it's my life...in other countries u don't even need a prescription for it...are there any doctors that any of you know of or heard of that would prescribe it to a person who is depressed and has'nt responded to any other medication except hydrocodone?im thinking that maybe some depressed people like myself actually have a problem with their opioid receptors and that is the reason they are depressed...?
