Withdrawal from lithium -- physical problems

I have a relative who stopped taking lithium in June. She is doing well mentally and emotionally. I'm writing to see if anyone has suggestions or knowledge regarding physical withdrawal. Some things are better, like the acne going away, but she reports hamstring problems, weak legs, can't walk down a long hill.
Anyone done Lithium withdrawal?
Any suggestions or authorities to ask?
