It loads up fine that way. Any other way and it doesn't load up at all. Hope it works for you.

Greg, dear ...Sheesh, this seems like an awful lot of hulla-balloo just to do something simple,
and for something that worked in the past, no less.Yes, I, too, had this quirk at times, and what I would do was to load in another copy of my
browser and do something else ... eventually the PB page would load and I'd go back to it.However, given the fact that patience is at a premium these days, and multi-tasking is something
one does *not* do lightly with such a flakey OS as WIN9x, you may want to try this.
There are certain transfer settings in WIN9x than can be "doctored" to enhance network performance.
One particular setting is TTL, meaning "Time-to-Live." TTL is a field in the IP header which indicates
how long a packet should be allowed to survive before it is discarded. TTL essentially determines the maximum
number of hops permitted. Windows default is 32, but with the Internet growing larger all the time, it is
worth changing it to the larger setting of 128.There are other settings you can change, too, which will also improve network performace, such as MTU,
PMTU (Auto Discovery & Black Hole Detect), RWIN (TC Receive Window), Sessions-Keep-Alive,
etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. Now, in the past one had to mickey mouse with the Registry to do this stuff manually, but now (thank Zeus!)
there's software to do all this crap: TweakDUN, EasyMTU, Modem Booster, etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah,
all of which I have and can easily e-mail them to you with just a simple request.Personally, I recommend TweakDUN and EasyMTU.
On a more serious note: where have I been all your unnatural life?
I remain, faithfully yours,
kazoo
