The precursor approch to treating depression makes several false assumptions. 1) depression is caused by lack of precursors or neurotransmitters.
Depression is probably caused by several processes, regulation of NT's is the process most AD's work thru.
2) taking more precursors yields more NT's. The body limits the amount of precursors that are made into NT. Unless you have malnutrition no one
lacks precursors (amino acids)
It is safe to say I have tried most everything, including supplementation with presursors.
