Greetings,
It's almost 5 a.m. Friday and I'm happy to report that yesterday most of the pain disappeared that morning. I didn't need to take anyvalium or pain meds until that evening --bounced into walls and pounding, in addition to crying at the drop of a hat. I CAN DEFINITELY SAY that I do feel 'better' now, but not 'good' if you know what I mean, but I do feeling it ease up and I'm no getting those 'death thoughs' anymore, thank god....
I don't know if this means anything or not, but after last night waking up every few hours and putting away on the 'puter, I sat outside under the porch and had a butt that I usually do when I can't sleep. The thing I didn't know is that it was really, reallly POURING outside, a huge storm, raining so heavy it looked like the fake rain on a movie set --- anyways I was sitting there, watchign the rain pound away, and somehow I felt it cleaning me away, I don't know, it was very strange .. then I saw myself cheering the rain on ... it would let up for a bit, then just CLOBBER the streets...it was pretty cool...and it made me SMILE. I think that's when I started to turn around. So there was hope.
I've also gone from over a pack a day to less than a half cigarette in a week. They make me want to puke. It's hilarious! I'm happy!!!! Gave my boyfriend my carton of smokes and told him to get rid of them, no looking back.
I wanted to avoid emergency whatsoever because in Canada our heathcare is so screwed I would have been in more pain waiting there than being at home with the meds handy. Plus I knew there were people more worse off tha me that needed to be there.
3 more days until Parnate ......
Thanks again for your response. :--)
