I have taken valerian along with Paxil and reboxetine occasionally. I don't know any references for possible interactions, but I didn't get any problems.
I used it to calm me down if I felt a rapid rise in anxiety, and it worked quite well for that. It took effect quite quickly (say half an hour), I only used it when I felt I needed it, not all the time.
I also tried it as a sleep aid, not so effective, but then the ADs can produce very pronounced insomnia!
