It took about 4 weeks for me to start feeling better on Paxil. I've never taken Celexa, but I'm sure that like other SSRI's, it can take a little bit of time to work. I would say that if you had a good day, that's probably a good sign. Be happy for it, and just be patient. :-) Things may start to improve more steadily in the coming weeks.

> HI everyone. Great board here. I've been on Celexa 10mg. for 10 days. I've had 1 day (2 days ago) where I thought, finally, it's working! My anxiety and depression, my obsessive thoughts, all lifted and I felt calm and optimistic, and yes, even happy. SSRI's have given me this feeling in the past, so I don't think it was a placebo effect. But since that one glorious day I feel down and anxious again, and the obsessive worrying is back. Has anyone else had this experience? Should I hang in there? Things are better than last week, when the side effects made me extremely anxious and unable to eat or sleep. But still, I don't know how long I can stand not feeling better . . .
