> I have been on Celexa for anxiety for 3 months nad the effect on my anxiety has been minimal. However, looking back over the last few months I can see how it has changed my attitude. Shortly after starting them I decided I would like to start my own web business which has taken off and now earns me a small fortune (5 times my previous salary). Maybe its not the drugs who know - all I know is that in the past I would NEVER have had the inclimation or confidence to do this and usually would have stopped at the first hurdle whereas now I am positive and forward looking. Anybody else noticed any other positive side effects affecting attitude?

After begging my deoctor for weeks he gave me a weeks supply of Diazepam (only 2mg) and I was able to feel normal and lead a normal life for a week but alas he wont give me more because they are addictive - however, I am starting to wonder if being addicted to a medicine is prefeable to eaking out this anxious existence. I'd like your opinions on this - especially if you face the same dillema or use diazepam.

> Thanks,I may have had a similar experience with
BuSpar. After about a month on 60 mg per
day (also on 20 mg/day of Celexa), I consulted a patent attorney for an
idea that I had had for close to two years.
BuSpar is also an anti-anxiety agent. It
remains to be seen if I will maintain the
energy, drive, or whatever it takes to
follow through on this project, but at
least I've made the first move.
