ECT, meds, and concentration

Posted by rhonda on December 9, 2000, at 14:55:09

I have had a series of ECT's that began in Feb. 2000 and ended in May 2000. I am currently taking effexor xr 150mg 2x's per day, naltrexone 50mg, risperdal 4mg, seroquel 25mg, orthotricyclene, allegra D, rhinocort, and levoxyl .05mg. I realize that I am on a lot of medications.
I have been having problems remembering what I do from day to day. For example, if I do something on Monday, by Wednesday I usually can't remember what I did. Also reading and concentrating are a real effort. I used to read all the time before I took the ECT's and started taking medicine, but lately I have to read a sentence two to three times before the meaning registers.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
