dexedrine vs. ritalin

Posted by michael on January 25, 2001, at 18:35:31

"...patients who report that they feel "wired" on Ritalin actually get a calming effect from Dexedrine."

I've come across this comment a number of different places on the internet (incl. dr. bob's tips)... I don't think I've ever seen the contrary stated. Has anyone experienced the opposite?

I note some sense of relaxation & energy from dex (wired/edgy if spanules rather than regular dex)...

But w/ritalin, I felt as if I wasn't taking anything at all - in terms of feeling 'medicated' - just clear, focused, relaxed, functional, actually got things done (started, & finished), etc... Normal. (of course it was only for 3 hours/dose...)
